Communications and Baseball Information
I spent six months gaining a great amount of experience in hands on public relations in the Communications and Baseball Information Department for the Rochester Red Wings. I was trusted with various tasks to complete, such as the creation of the teams' Media Guide, writing up press releases, game notes, and game stories. As well as assisting my boss with press conferences held at the ballpark (i.e. Media Day) and interacting with the local and national media professionals that attended. I was given the opportunity to take the lead on our credentialing process for media that came to the stadium for games.I was also tasked with helping out with the internal company relations like sending out roster moves/press release emails to the Rochester Community Baseball organization, as well as the overall Washington Nationals organization, the Red Wings' MLB affiliate.

Media Guide
Attached is a copy of the Rochester Red Wings 2023 Media Guide that I assisted in creating in the off-season. I was able to use my skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, as well as writing skills to create sections in here such as the player bio pages.

Game Notes
Attached is a sample of game notes I wrote throughout my time with the team. These allowed me to learn and perfect the specific and objective manner that sports writing needs to be done.

Game Recaps
Attached is a sample of a game recap that I wrote for one of the team's away games. This allowed me to learn how to write in a way that is objective enough to get the point across simply and quickly, while also being descriptive enough for the reader to know exactly how the game went without having to be there.

Season Summary
Attached is the 2023 Season Summary that I assisted in creating during my time with the team. The work I had to do included but not limited to compiling box scores, writing game notes for each month, as well as compiling the stats, highlights and milestones throughout the season.
